Jefferson Area Little League
MISSION STATEMENT:
Little League Baseball, Incorporated is a non-profit organization whose mission is "to promote, develop,
supervise, and voluntarily assist in all lawful ways, the interest of those who will participate in Little League
Baseball." Through proper guidance and exemplary leadership, the Little League program assists youth in
developing the qualities of citizenship, discipline, teamwork and physical well being. By espousing the
virtues of character, courage and loyalty, the Little League Baseball program is designed to develop superior
citizens rather than superior athletes.
The Jefferson Area Little League is a non-profit youth baseball organization . The hallmarks of our organization are:
● To create an atmosphere that teaches our youth the benefits of playing as a team, as well as an
individual
● To cultivate personal growth
● To encourage and inspire group development
● To increase youth leadership within our community
● To lay down the foundation and fundamentals of the game
Jefferson Area Little League believes in the power of youth baseball to teach life lessons that build stronger
individuals and communities. Our goal is to provide a safe, affordable, well organized program through
which boys and girls can learn and enjoy the game of baseball. We emphasize a positive attitude and
respect for self and others through the promotion and celebration of diversity, integrity, and loyalty.
